Phillomena School of Dance Rules and General Information

ENROLMENT FEE

To enrol your child in the Phillomena School of Dance or the Pink Ladies Cheerleaders a fee of £25.00 will be added to your first terms fees. Alternatively, please download and fill in the registration form and post with your payment of £25.00 to secure your child’s place. Please ensure you state your child’s t-shirt size.

1/2 HOUR CLASS = £3.50 3/4 HOUR CLASS = £5.50 1 HOUR CLASS = £6.00 1 ½ HOUR CLASS = £7.50

DISCOUNT FOR CHEERLEADERS WHO ATTEND TWO OR MORE OTHER DANCE CLASSES,
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS FOR ONE PARENT FAMILIES – PLEASE ASK

All fees are requested in advance by either:
FULL TERM - CASH OR CHEQUE
HALF TERM - CASH ONLY

Cheques will only be accepted on a half term basis if you have more than one child in the school.
Half term payment must be received by the SECOND WEEK of term. As of January 2009 any fees paid later than the second week of term will have 10% of the total bill added every week until the account is settled.
A 10% discount on full term’s fees will be given to parents with two children in the school. (Does not include Adult classes)
A 15% discount on full term fees will be given to parents with more than two children in the school. (Does not include Adult classes)
Bills will be given out on the first day of term. Payment should be submitted in an envelope. Due to high bank charges the floor limit for all cheques is £25.00.
Fees for Baby ballet & tap classes & Rosette classes must be paid in advance at the end of every term, in order to reserve a place for the following term. As of January 2010 there will be a Late Payment charge of £15.00 added to the total bill for all those who do not reserve their spaces before we break at the end of every term.
A £2.00 insurance fee will be added to every terms dance bills (£6.00 per annum) & £5.00 insurance fee will be added to each cheerleader bill per annum.

NOTIFICATION OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE SCHOOL & ALL CHEERLEADING SQUADS.

A half terms notice in writing (six - eight weeks) is requested if you wish to withdraw your child from the school. If written notification is not received, a half terms fee is required to be paid in full.

Please note - once fee payment has been received it is non-refundable.

TRIAL CLASSES

Trial dance class: Please dress them in clothes they can move in i.e. T-shirt with leggings/ shorts. For trial baby classes girls should wear a short skirt. If they own a dance kit, please let them wear it. Hair should be up off the face.

Trial Cheer class: Please wear suitable sports clothes and trainers. Hair should be tied back in a ponytail.

All trial classes are charged at the single class rate. The prices for all classes are listed on the timetable Parents may watch the trial class only.

OPEN DAYS

We have an open day at the end of every term and all are welcome to watch. Still cameras are permitted but video recorders are not.

Please see the Classes & Uniforms page for uniform requirements. We sell all new & second hand kit at the school, please feel free to ask.
