CLASSES
BABY BALLET and TAP CLASSES
Our goal for this class is to have fun with music, to help children learn their first basic dance steps, understand rhythm and work towards their first exam the "Pre-Juvenile Group Award".
Classes: For children 2 - 5 years old
ROSETTE CLASSES
This class is a general "taster" of all dance disciplines. The children work towards collecting a set of Rosettes (ten in all) in Theatre Craft, Tap, Ballet, Jazz & National.
Classes: For children 5 - 8 years old
DISCO DOTS
A fun, lively and energetic class that follows the modern trends of pop music.
Classes: For Children Ages 4-7 years old | ODT Freestyle/street
GRADED TAP & THEATRE CRAFT CLASSES
Tap dancing is an exciting form of dance creating rhythmic patterns and timely beats. Theatre craft is a form of modern theatre dance with artistic interpretation. Our classes combine both tap and theatre craft and are available for students 8 years and over.

BALLET CLASSES
Ballet is the foundation of all good dancers, and helps keep good posture, style and strength. It is also important as it encourages self-discipline and technical training. Ballet begins at the barre, where you warm up, perfect technical exercises and strengthen muscles. You then move to the centre and perform, arm exercises, slow controlled movements, travelling steps, turns, jumps, mime and set pieces.
As this is a more specialised dance form, we have separate classes for children of all ages and grades.
Classes: Preparatory Grade | Primary Grade | Grade 1 | Grades 2 and 3 | Grades 4, 5 and 6/Intermediate
FREESTYLE/STREET
Freestyle/Street is highly energetic dance subject and a great way to express your own style to upbeat music and rhythms. It involves a fusion of different body, arm and hand movements and follows the modern trends of pop music and dance including "Street".
Classes held for children of all ages and abilities.

Rosette Classes
Pink leotard ruched front no sleeves, pink polka dot skirt & scrunchie, pink ballet socks/ tights, black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.
Graded Tap & Theatre Craft
Preparatory Grade: Pink leotard ruched front no sleeves, pink dance socks, black ballet shoes & black tap shoes, pink short lycra skirt.
Primary Grade: Pink leotard ruched front no sleeves, pink dance socks, black ballet shoes & black tap shoes, pink short lycra skirt.
Grade 1 upwards: Black leotard, black ballet socks/ tights, black & white short wrap skirt, black ballet shoes, black lycra/velvet Jazz pants, black tap shoes.
Students: Any dance kit can be worn to class however, for exams the following is required:
Student Theatre Craft: Black leotard, full circle calf length skirt, black ballet shoes, dance tights & tan shoes.
Student Tap: Coloured leotard, black lycra / velvet jazz pants, black tap shoes, black ballet socks.

Graded Ballet Classes
Preparatory & Primary Grade: Pink leotard ruched front no sleeves, pink ballet net skirt, pink dance socks/tights, pink ballet shoes.
Grade 1: Black leotard, black ballet net skirt, pink dance socks/tights, pink ballet shoes.
Grade 2 – 4: Black leotard, pink dance socks/tights, pink ballet shoes.
Grade 5+ and Senior Ballet: Black leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes. Pointe shoes – depending on grade.
Freestyle/Street
Disco Dots: Black lycra Jazz pants, black ballet shoes, black ankle socks, school t-shirt.
Freestyle/Street: Black leotard, black lycra Jazz pants, black ankle socks, black ballet or split sole Jazz shoes, school t-shirt.
Student Freestyle/Street: Any dance kit can be worn to class however, for exams the following is required: Leotard & Jazz pants – own choice, black ballet socks, black split sole Jazz shoes or black split sole dance trainers.

BOYS
White leotard, black cycle shorts, black ankle socks, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
UNIFORM RULES
- For dance classes all hair long enough should be worn in a BUN and tightly secured.
- All jewellery to be removed before all dance classes.
- All ballet shoes should be elasticated in the correct place. Please ask if unsure.
- All items of dance kit must be named.
- A bag is needed to keep it all in!
All students may wear a school sweat or T-shirt - but when asked these items must be removed.
